Sir, I, Avtar singh Govt. employee at NIT. Jalandhar, applied for passport 04/11/08, provided NOC to your office by my department. My Deptt (Dr, BR Ambedkar NIT, Jalandhar) also has sent Identity Certificate (ANNEXURE `B`) to your office 3 weeks ago. This letter, I have given to you (Passport officer) by hand, after taking appointment from you, because I have needed passport very urgently. you had told me that within one week, I will get it surely, otherwise, I want to applied under Tatkaal- scheme. But, when you advised me that my passport will come home within one week, so, I rejected Tatkaal-scheme. It is very surprising matter that one side you write/say that Govt.employee when provided identity certificate from his/her Department/employer, does not need police verification, but other side when I check status of my application, it is written, Police verification has not been sent while I have provided identification certificate to you regarding your office letter. My file no.is P07468208 .My wife applied under Tatkaal scheme, with required fees. Her file no is P08199808 . so, that is the 2nd reminder, kindly do the needful.. Kindly send our passports as soon as possible, it is most urgent for us, in this time. pl., do the needful. Thanks. [email protected]
