Shifting telephone is not done even after three weeks

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to inform you that I gave a request to shift my telephone from Saltlake to Kestopur Location on 02-Jul in Kolkata exchange.

Case Number :- SLM/OP/H9/NOR/08-09/0734

Phone number to be transferred :- 23589969

It is my unfortunate that I am in trouble which is being created by kestopur telephone exchanges personnel.

After several follow up, they agreed to connect my telephone on 18-Jul in new places. One person from Kestopur exchange came to my house and connected the telephone. That person asks for some tips or money. But I didnt pay any money.

Today is 22-Jul. Still I have not got new numbers from the exchange.

I called up the following person

3. Area Manager :- 9433000055

4. Mr Ghosh :- 033-25712971

They could not give me any guarantee when I can get the new connection number. They told me to wait and see. This is fantastic answer from such a telephone officers. I am using broadband connection along with the landline.

I found that Saltlake exchange is much more capable giving service very fast. For example, I was given the new phone number within 2 hours after giving new connections. Whereas Kestopur exchange is not able to provide the changed number even 4 days are over after the line connection. Is not it funny? Is it realistic?

Please look into this matter.
