I received a pamplet from Airel which said "Get a life. Get Broadband"!!

I was happy with my present ISP, but when I saw that I can get a 2Mbps connection at Rs.777 per month, I called the callcentre to check it out.

Within 2 hours, an Airtel rep came to my house with the forms and collected 6 months rent in advance and said that my connection will be up within 4 days. I was impressed!

It is now 12 days and there is no call from Airtel. So I called them up. After speaking to 5 different people, I was told by the Engineer that they cannot provide connection in my apartment and I should apply for refund.

My apartment is in the Central Business District of bangalore. Just 50 meters from MG Road and one of the most posh localities in Bangalore.

I wonder how many weeks it may take them to refund the money which they promptly collected without verifying the feasibility.
