I also have a similar case. I bought Airtel's VCC of Rs.550 and was told tht calls to Australia mobile numbers would be charged Rs.3.99 p.m. However when I placed a call the next day, I was charged more than Rs.8 p.m. I called customer care to verify the same and they told me it was a technical fault and the error would be rectified withing 4 hours. Its been a week & I am still being charged Rs.8 p.m. I have placed almost 10 calls to customer care, majority of which have executives put me on hold and the call was cut. I have also sent 3 emails out including one to the mumbai airtel nodal officer (someone name Ms. Shirley) but have not received any justification for the Rs.8 cut. The final call I made really irked me when the executive told, "we cant help you. Please visit an Airtel gallery." I think the very reason why we make calls to customer care is so we save ourselves the trouble of going to an airtel gallery.
