Negligence of Customer care executives

I had network issues with my Airtel post-paid no is 9900263684, i was using this connection since 3 years..i thought to cancel it and go for other connection. I have raised the compliant regarding the same. The customer exec told me that i will receive a confirmation call regarding the cancellation after few days.i got a call from one of the manager he told me that they are working on the network issue and it will be resolved in few more days.he requested me to retain the connection, i have asked some time for that. After two days i got another call from head office i spoke to the exec and told him that i wil retain the connection.and i have asked for the number change and told me the process.i asked him for the available numbers, he told that he wil get back to me in another 1 hour. After that i dint get any call from the airtel..I dint get my new number as well my old number was dissconneceted without the confirmation..i checked with the airtel customer care they are very rude and they are telling that the execs who spoke to me has not update my account wit proper details..n these ppl are tellin tht i am responsible for the same. What can i do if the exec has not updated my account wit proper comments?? i also sent a mail to the nodal officer of the airtel, i dint get any response from them as well. This is really pathetic..I dont know how to escalate this issue..
