My prepaid mobile no. 09981374590. in C.G. BHILAI. On 13th, Nov 09, i got S.M.S. message thar in my mobile ' Friendz chat' service has been activated though i had not requested. This message i got at 20.16. When I contacted customer care on 121 -9 at 20.20 i was assured that as i have not requested for the service, the service will be STOPPED-AND NO AMOUNT WILL BE deducted from the account. But at 20.23 I got the S.M.S THAT Rs. 10 has been deducted from the accont and service is stopped. AND when i contacted the custmer care at 121-at 20.20 the person replied that once service is activated 'THOUGH WITHOUT REQUEST' THEY will duduct the charge and when i wanted to further inquiry the 'GENTLEMAN OF AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE ' SWITCHED OFF THE MOBILE. The question is not of money BUT the question is that CAN A CO. ACTIVATE ANY SERVICE WITHOUT REQUEST AND THEN STOP IT AFTER DEDUCTING THE CHARGES,
SO I request you to please suggest me. so that this act is not repeated again. THANKS
