I recently got a SMS from airtel, "Thank you for subscribing to MASTI. Your pack will be activated soon." Soon Rs 10/week was deducted from my already low account. I immediately called the complain number (198) and spoke to the person at the other end about this SMS. I have registerter my complaint therr but nothing is happening. Since then I have called at least 10 times, to no avail.

In the past few months Airtel has cheated me this way by forcibly subscribing me to hello tunes, yahoo zone, GPRS, and various other useless services.

And, the cellphone is always with me, I use it only for making & receiving calls, and have never received a single wrong number since I purchased the SIM.

I really don't know what to do, other than changing the provider.

The "Stay Away" section states Airtel with the worst ratings.

Judge for yourself. Pigeons are better.
