I have a couple of AirTel post paid connections, plus a pre paid one. These people have shabby, very limited, far flung, and badly equipped offices even in a state capital. You have to commute long for making your payments. For the third time they have disconnected my services on non payment of very minor dues (less than Rs. 500.00) which had in fact been deposited much before the due date. They have recently closed one of their local office, where lots of cheques are reported to be lying on their drop boxes, which, unfortunately they do not seem to bother. More than a couple of years back, I had applied for an AirTel broadband connection, which, has still not been made available to me, even after depositing the requisite amount. Ther's still more bitter experience with this servive provider. Prior to leaving station for a week, I paid Rs.500.00 (a security deposit/activation fee applicable earlier) towards roaming charges, filled an application form, but forgot to take the reciept. The roaming never got activated and after returning back home I was curtly told that the roaming could not be activated as I had not paid Rs. 500.00. Once I paid my bills via Credit card and again got into trouble.

My sincere advice - Go for a better service.
