I have been reading complaints about this service provider, which, in fact was 'nt really quite off mark. I fully appreciate the views of the respondents of this web site. Let me put my views this way - Air Tel entered into the foray at the time BSNL was crippled with corruption, HUTCH charging much higher monthly bills for equal no. of calls, and CDMA operators - Tata and Reliance had nothing remotely to offer as close to those cheap multimedia cell phones which GSM offered off the shelf. Air Tel with only a hand ful of installed transmitters, competitive call transfer rates, obviously became the default choice. But a shabby and not carring customer service, which may be alright as a business strategy, could not, for long, live up to the expectations of their valued subscribers, as those subscribers felt literally let down- well most of them!
