It took me about i month to cancel a cell no. and now after temprary cancellation of the no. before the current billing cycle, airtel wants to drag the billing cycle till the next 8th statements, so that the actication fee of Rs. 500/- paid at the time of taking the connection gets adjusted.
I feel they delibrately harrasing their customers.

I fail to understand that why will the amount of Rs. 500/- (activation fees) would be adjusted in the forthcoming invoices from the fourth month Rs.100/- per bill till 8th bill, when I have already put a request for cancelation of airtel no. 9810041216.
I feel you are making a point of not refunding the activation fee & dragging the same till the 8th bill, when I have already informed airtel in righting to cancel the same account dated August 11th 09.
You are again requested to permanently terminate the above mentioned number & refund the activation amount of Rs. 500/- at the earliest.

Thanks for your revert.
I appreciate that you got back with a solution. As mentioned by you in the mail below that the credit of Rs. 80 – will be applied to my account which means there will be no balance which I would owe Airtel.
You are also requested to kindly ensure that no further balance charges fee is applied to my account. I hope you can understand that this is an individual account and I believe that Airtel does not open¿s an account without taking a security deposit from a customer (Which is not a corporate account).
You can also understand that it becomes difficult for any body to maintain the said receipt of the payment maid for the Security Deposit at the time of opening the said account. I have left it on you and hope that you can help me getting the security deposit back.
