Disconnection of Post paid service for want of address proof

I hold an airtel connection with number 9790975825. I had shifted my house from Saligramam to Ramapuram, Porur in May09. On 7.7.09, the airtel office staff called to my mobile and said he was coming to collect address proof. That person could not able find my house inspite of repeated guidance to my address. An employee from porur office could not find an address in the same locality and he left without coming for address proof collection. I got an SMS saying that address proof has not been submitted and should give the same to avoid disconnection.. But due to my work pressure, I could not make it to the airtel office. The outgoing calls were disconnected on 12.7.09. When I checked with customer care, they had told me to submit the address proof in the office where I had taken the connection. As I had taken this connection in T Nagar office, taking permission during my office hours, I had gone there and gave the address proof. They rejected saying that it should be submitted in the Porur office. Then on another day i.e., 24.7.09, I went to Porur office and submitted the proof. They told the connection will be resumed within 24 hours. I also got an SMS, it will be resumed by 25.7.09. But the connection is not yet resumed. When me or my wife contact customer care centre, they keep on saying that they didn't get the address proof..I don't know and whom to contact. We are really getting frustrated to call the customer care and listening to their answers saying that they could not help.. Then why is the customer care service for??? Is it to care customers or torture?? They suggest me to go again to Porur office and call from that phone so that they can talk to that Porur office agent.. Why cant they check it from their end?? Its Airtel problem to get the information from their own staff... Is it so difficult for a tele communication company to get information from their own office.. Then how could a company like this can serve the entire nation??? Finally, Till now i.e., 29.7.09, I could not get my problem resolved..I dont know whom to contact...
