Samsung, India was running a promotional offer. Anyone that buys a samsung LCD or Plasma TV was eligible for a 5 Month Free AIRTEL DIGITAL TV. I had to wait for atleast 3 weeks before the retailer gave me a coupon code. I have been calling AIRTEL on a toll free number to book an appointment for them to come install the Digital TV.
I had called them atleast 4 times and they ask me to call them back after an Hour, since their IVR syatem (Guess this is their system to generate a work order) is not working. I managed to speak to their manager once and they took my PIN # on the coupon and said they will feed it when the system becomes available and SMS me the details on my mobile phone. That has not happened even after 4-5 calls.
I wonder how irresponsible they could be and have a customer call them everyday to hear the same thing. Talk about customer service huh!! Their tag line .."Come home to the Magic"..means, you can buy our services, but we don't install the service.
