Unnecessary deductions

My son and parents use an airtel prepaid connection on an old nokia 1100 type of mobile phones, since a couple of months it has been observed that their is a sudden deduction in the available balance against job alert services, hello tune services, VAS downloads, etc. When I contacted the airtel customer care dept, none of the customer care associate responded in a proper way, the associates simply transferred the call to their superiors and most of the time the superiors (sr. supervisors and sr. managers) themselves cut-off the phone because they could not give any clarifications against the deductions. They have deducted Rs 120/- against VAS downloads, VAS download requires GPRS activated and we have not activated GPRS on any of our phones then how is it possible, my son is a school going kid and my parents are old above 70 yrs of age, its common sense that none of them will opt for job alert or any kind of services.

After calling the customer care for several times they have refund partial amount, but after 5 to 6 days they again deduct the amount giving any fake reasons.

The customer care associates are not ready to register the complaint nor they provide any reference.

These facts of airtel should be escalated publically and everyone should change the service providers to other than airtel.
