Improper Bill charged by Airtel

Hi Sir,

With respect to my mobile no. 9845429315, I have been billed Rs.878 extra for the month of July. Since a year I have been using the Airtel mobile services where I am bound to call to international number (for my personal needs) at Rs.9.20 per min to UK mbiles. However, Airtel claims that the charges have been revised since July to Rs.10 per min to UK Mobiles. I agree there might have been a change of plan, but this news was not intimated to the customer, inspite of being tagged as their platinum customer. For almost a year I have been using ISD facility and till date I have not received any sms alert or even a mail about the change in tariff. I was given a shock over my bill where I was charged Rs.5, 110 for ISD calls where as I should have been charged only Rs. 4, 232.

I have logged a complaint with the customer care in the 1st week of August since then I have been following up with them for an update yet no progress. I have had conversation right from the customer care executives, the floor managers (Bharath MM, Vishwas M, Mary Antony) and the senior floor manager Nasir Ulla Khan who all promised to have reverted yet no response so far.(Ref no. 545395036)

I have also dropped a mail to their nodal office who's the region head, yet no response from their end. I am frustrated and tired and cannot afford to make payment for a bill that I was not supposed to be paying.

Kindly look into this issue and hoping my complaint would be redressed asap.
