I wish to bring to your kind notice that I own a mobile phone with airtel-Prepaid connection. I had a balance amount of Approx. Rs.700-00. When I went to a nearby Air tel shop for recharging (bamunimaidan area, Air tel agency shop, Behind East End nursing home, Guwahati), I was told that the connection shall be valid till 3 months even without recahrge. Based on the information, I have for 15 days after completing the recharge period. Recently (after a gap of 15 days from completion of recharge period), when I went to them for recharge, I had noted that the old balance of Rs.700-00 is expired and I was told that the amount is nil.
I was shocked and felt that I have been cheated by Air tel. Immediately, I spoke to 121 and requested them to arrange for the Rs.700-00 of my old balance. I was told that the information provided by their agent is not correct and accordingly the amount shall not be returned.
I feel that I have been cheated by the Air tel and also the people who sit in the shop as they do not know the actual rules and regulations of the company.
Hence, I wish to complaint against the Air tel and the agent (as mentioned above) that they should do the justice to me as I lose Rs.700-00 for none of my fault.
I would also inform that we have been very satisfied with the Air tel's services. In fact, my husband is an extensive user of Air tel. He is also very much annoyed about the behaviour of air tel people.
