Over 3 months and still waiting!!!

I had engaged the Allieds office in Dubai for shipment of my goods back to Mangalore, India on 24th June. I was promised a delivery of 4-5 weeks.

The Allieds offices in Dubai had no clue where Mangalore was and didnt know the route of my shipment. I was never told by the company that my shipment was going through Chennai, Bangalore to clear customs and then will be delivered by road to Mangalore. I figured it out the hard way. I was promised various dates for my shipment and even provided a confirmation that the goods have left the origin only to find out that it is still in Dubai port due to roll over of my goods to the next vessel, something that Allieds claim they have no control and had no clue.

All of this resulted in a delay which required a change in the shipment to my wife's name as i was unavailable in the country to claim the goods. The Allieds offices promised that the name change was complete before the goods left the port of Dubai. Upon arrival in Chennai, it was discovered that the name change has not been complete and the shipment will not be released until the procedure has been complete. This resulted in demurrage charges of over USD 1400 which Allieds wants me to pay.

The one point of contact in India which i was promised by Allieds office in Dubai has not even bothered to call or email me. The office in Bangalore have not gotten in touch with me even once. The office in Dubai admits clearly that they have had no assistance in this regard from their office in Bangalore.

I am now a victim caught in between two branch offices washing dirty linen in public. It is close to 4 months and i am still waiting for my goods.

I have now decided to take it up legally and have every proof of false claims and promises made by these two offices of Allieds.

This clearly proves that Allieds claims on their website is completely false and my experience is good enough to prove that the company lacks professsionalism in every manner. What should have been a trouble free re-location has turned out to be a nightmare for me.
