I am vasudha garg.i registered for one year diploma course in interior design with Annamalai University through distance learning at their study centre with INIFD at the hauz khas enclave, new delhi. This centre is housed in Institute of Home economics -a college by Delhi University.
I gave an request before classes started for withdrawal form the course. I many number of times requested university authorities to kindly refund my fees which was paid in shape of two demand drafts of Rs. 30, 000 and Rs.2, 000 each. INIFD centre says they have deposited the fees with Annamalai university andit up to the Annamalai univeristy to refund the fees.
Till today i have not heard from Annamalia univeristy. I was never given the information that fees acnot be refunded in case of some unforseen circumstances.
please help me and hear my compliant.i request the authorities to kindly refund the fees. As i am not attending the course the said fees is not of use to annamalai university. it is gross injustice and malpractice in name of spreading education. It is like a business in beign conducted and every opportunity is utlilised to make misuse of customer's money. Even if Annamalai univeristy is engaged in business activities in guise of spreating education even than it is against the ethics of consumer service. As moneyf or discharging a service has been taken when the consumer is not using the service at all. Since the offer is not beign availaed the money should be returned.
If Annamalai University says it is for helping students than in my case it has just made me a scapegoat and is using my hard earne dmoney to further its own interests.
It is not enlightement of students but gross misuse of power by annamalai university.
