Non- replacement of faulty energy mete

Dear Sir,

The electrical energy meter (of Tamil Nadu electricity board) of the SC numbers (231-016-1285 & 231-016-2163) is not working for last 3 (May'2011 and August' 2011) months and the above consumers are made to pay charges rupees ranging from INR 1200 - INR 2000 (for each) without any proper documents or without valid reasons (reasons indicated is minimum collection charges). A complaint is already logged with TNEB for changing of Energy Meter in the month of May'2011 (already 03 months completed) and also many verbal complaints were made to the regonal consumer / collection office. But till now no action is taken to replacement of faulty energy meter, instead the consumer is charged with heafty amount as electricity charges as mentioned above (mentioning it as least charges to be collected). During enquiring about the complaint no positive or responsive reply is provided by the employees at collection / consumer office, all they provide is a rude reply (no availability of meter, go and complaint anywhere you want). Hope some action for replacement and rude behaviour will be taken.
