Delay in issue of new booklet

Dear Sir,

I write with great grievance that my passport application for an additional booklet has taken more than 7 months to process. My application number is R012408-10. I had applied on 22-11 and my police verification was also done in december but it has taken more than 6 months to despatch the additional booklet. It is beyond my comprehension how it can take this long. I have been stranded and cannot travel as a result.
