i applied my wife passport 3 months ago under tatkal, my wife passport came in 20 days without police verification, now my wife is in abroad since 1month, yesterday police came to my house for verification, they are asking to produce my wife but she is in abroad with me and it is very difficult for her to visit back to country in recent future but police is threatning that if you will not produce her in a week, we will cancel the passport and she will be back from abroad, sir what is the indian law in this concern, my parent is giving somany proof just as what they produced at the time of applying the passport.
