I posted a complaint on this site on 24-08 reading as under. Till date the MP State Electricity board has not taken any action. The copy of the complaint is as under
Wrong Metre reading
Service No: 324335-63-10-413690 in the name of A.Tiwari.
The bill No. 1724 dated 16-08 for the month of Aug. was very much on the higher side. Theconsumption of unit for the last 3 months viz. May, June and July stand at 191, 707 and 594 respectively. This month Metre units were shown in the bill as 1157. So I checked the metre today (25-08) immediatle on receipt of the bill. It shows a reading less than the reading shown in the bill which cannot be so. So I concluded that the reading has been taken wrongly or has been fed into the comuter wrongly. I request the concerned authorities to check up and reissue a correct bill.

Now for the month of September I have again received the Electricity Bill again showing a wrong metre reading. In fact when the metre reading was taken by the employee of the Electricty office, I pointed out the mistake done by him in Aug. 2010. He assured that this month viz. in Sep. it will be corrected. But from the bill I find it has not been done. The beauty is that the actual metre reading is far less than that shown in the bill.
Will the authorities concerned taken some immediate action.
