RE: UNDERPASS CONSTRUCTION AT VIVEK VIHAR RAILWAY CROSSING
Dear Sir,
This is regarding above mentioned subject, where an underpass is being consructed
by MCD thtough its contractor In this context, We humbly bring to your kind notice that
a walkthrough passage for trespassers is being proposed to be given right in front of our houses which will
be a matter of great inconvenience beside security threat. The service lane in front of houses number A-1 to A-12 Vivek Vihar
is already very narrow and approaches our houses directly. This is the only small area we get to take our vehicles in and out and elderly
residents take a walk in the lane beside small children only playing area. The volume of traffic is too high coming from Vivek Vihar Railway station everyday
and looking to the footfall of the general public everyday in very close proximity to our houses will add to severe security threat beside major noise pollution and
will give easy access to bad elements in the night to take advantage of what is being proposed. We residents stand united and strongly oppose it. Sir..! In the light of the above facts and threat mentioned herein, We, the concerned residents
of A-Block very humbly request your goodself to kindly shift the walk through passage of one side touching the homes of the residents. We are geniunely
scared of the after effects of the proposed work. This piece of information was given to us only two days back and were advised by Mr. Brij Mehra (Contractor)
himself to place a request before your goodself while marking a copy to Ms. Preeti (our area councillor) We sincerely hope that
you will address this issue very seriously and will not ignore the concern mentioned herein.
We will appreciate and be obliged if you could please shift the walk through passage or just make it one way from the
other side, this effort of yours will surely help us living a secured and peaceful life.
