It's regarding two letter boxes:
Our main post office is E.C.I.L, Hyderabad- 500 062
(i) One letter box that was arranged many years ago (location- Opp: Radhika Cinema Hall, Dr. A.S.Rao Nagar, Hyderabad- 500 062 has been removed; as a result of which user public are forced / troubled to go to another L.B. location atleast one k.m distance. This matter has been brought to the notice of the Post Master Smt. Venkata Subbayamma, E.C.I.L.-P.O, Hyderabad -500 062 and also Shri Anjaneyulu, PRIP, Himmat Nagar, Hyd. during one of his visits to the ECIL -P.O, Hyderabad-500 062. Only time is running out but no concrete action is being contemplated. It is earnestly reuested to kindly re-install a " two mouthed " or the old type which was removed i.e. " T.V. type" L.B. at your earliest.
(ii) One more L.B. which was installed many years ago at the location of Kapra old municipal office cross roads I.e on way to SAKET is in a very a pitiable condition. The L.B - half of its portion has gone inside the ground and only the remaining half is outside/ above the ground. This condition is since many years. The user public are finding it difficult to go to another L.B. which is at a distance of one k.m. atleast. Off late, during this summer season it is observed that one sugar cane juice vendor has occupied that place and covered the
"two mouther" L.B. with a red cloth - like a table cloth and arranged all his sugar cane juice glasses and also other paraphernalia. This matter has also been taken to the notice of the Post Master Smt. Venkata Subbayamma, E.C.I.L- P.O, Hyderabad-500 0 62 and also to the notice of Shri Anjaneyulu, PRIP, Himmat Nagar, Hyderabad during one of his visits to the ECIL post office. The result is the same. Only passage of time has been noticed but no action has been contemplated. It is earnestly requested to kindly initiate urgent steps and bring back the L.B. into usage by the public.
(iii) S A K E T is a residential area which has come up during the last ten years in about one hundred acres with one thousand independent house plots and 900 105 built up houses. The S A K E T locality is at a distance of 3 k.ms. from Radhika Cinema Hall, Dr. A.S.Rao Nagar, Hyderabad- 500 062. But it is much to the surprise of one and all that a only a small L.B. has been installed / hungup at one of three entrance gates of S A K E T. Despite repeated representations to Shri Anjaneyulu, PRIP, Himmat Nagar, Hyderabad over phone and also personal pleadings during one of his visits to the ECIL- post office no action is being initiated. It is earnestly reuested to kindly take some urgent steps to install a "two mouthed " or atleast " T.V. Type " L.B. at the earliest.
(iv) In the recently opened Jai Jawan Colony sub-post office which is being manned by one Shri Shamim, Sub-Post Master under the Main Post Office E.C.I.L- Hyderabad - 500 062 it is noticed that Shri Shamim is all alone and there is no second person to work in the post office. Many times it is being observed/ experienced delay by the user public that when Shri Shamim leaves for his prayer purposes the post office is kept locked untill he returns! It is earnestly requested to kindly see at least a deputed person be kept on duty during the absence of Shri Shamim for his prayer purposes which is a genuine need.
(v) Normally all letters are delivered by the E.C.I.L Post office with some delay invariably. The matter is being discussed with the Post Master, ECIL, Hyderabad - 500 062 from time to time, but to no avail. Some times inorder to make it impossible to identify / distijguish the delivery date the delivery stamp is not branded. Further, it has become a common practice / experience for S A K E T residents to lose some of their dak without being received ; when such matters are sought to be enquired with postal staff the result is only some pretence.
Your earnest and kind and urgent steps are needed to same the postal service user public.
