I had filed passport application for renewal through district passport cell on 21.9.2010.
My application was submitted perfectly and the police has verification completed on 11.1.2010. (ref - 001074/10)
I do not understand on the webpage of application status why the same is not seen till 26.10.2010.
Why does the government of india have such website giving information about the status of application when it is not possible know the details of submission and status of the application even after one month of submission.
The matter has been referred to the concerned authorities to provide proper information on the webpage about details of submission and status of the application status as an when the same is being processed in the passport office. or else the meaning of having a webpage showing application status does not make any sense.
