Renewal of the Passport was applied 6 months earlier - not received it uet

I had applied for renewal of my passport in Aug, 09. Till date[jan -10] there has bee no update. Police enquiry had happened and I even received the postcard from police station saying enquiry has been completed. When I go to online status enquiry it says - "police verification is incomplete and case in being examined". I have no idea what does this mean. This status I am seeing from last six months.

Its urgent for me to get the passport as I need to travel abroad in next 2 weeks. My file no is HYD-L002641-09.

All the numbers are n answered, emails are not replied. This brings lots of frustation to the people.

Please help me to know, how can I get my passport.
