Dear Sir/Madam,
I have applied for the passport of my wife on 31-DEC-09 from Ranchi (Jharkhand). There are two varification of passport one from the Local Police Thana and other from CID/CBI varification. The police varification has been done on after one and half of submitting but till waiting for CID/CBI varification.
Since last approx 04 month no CID/CBI varofication.
As promised by ministry of external affairs, they will deliver passport within 02 month, where are these promise and action.
when I tried to get the current status I found that even after 5 months the status is same as "Police Report has not been received". The police headquarter in Jamshedpur and local pollice thana send the varification report on the same date. But why it is taking these much of time for CID/CBI varification from the jamshedpur HQ. Detail of my case is as follows:

It is realy a frustrating situation in JHARKHAND which I haven't recieved my passport and varification even after 5 months of form submission. Kindly do the needful.
