Delay in despatching the passport - W255052

Dear Sir,

I have applied for passport on 05-10-10 and my file number is HYD - W255052 - 10, Hyderabad. Police verification also done successfully but till date i did not received my passport copy.

The passport status page in the website is showing "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the dispatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be dispatched in a week's time" from 17 Dec onwards.

As i came across many others also facing the same problem it seems, so dear team of passport official, its a request from all of them that let us know what is the problem behind and how much more time it will take to reach the passport copy to each of them respectively...
