Dear Sir, It's my worst experience to deal with government offices. I applied for my mother's passport online and we went to the Andheri PSK center as per appointment. TCS representatives who initially screens the document doesn't accept the documents which are on their own website http://www.passportindia.gov.in, under address proof: listed documents like ration card and election commission ID card is not accepted. DOB proof like Educational Board certificate is not accepted and they ask to prepare an affidavit for place of birth if you don't have a leaving certificate but their is no such affidavit listed on the website for educated people not having leaving certificate. So if place of birth affidavit is compulsory then why it is not listed on the website as mandatory document and what is the format? They say it's mandatory for female applicant to bring either marriage certificate or affidavit but why it is not listed as mandatory document on the website for female married applicant's. These representative are very rude and unprofessional they don't check the complete document and do not provide details once and for all due to which we had to take multiple appointments and still the work was not done and they keep looking for some or other excuses.why don't they check all the documents and let the applicant know that these are the documents missing as they have put incorrect information on the website.who's responsibility it is to correct and audit the information on the website. They didn't accept the verification certificate from a NAVY commander on the official letter head of NAVAL Dockyard and the excuse was that the paper doesn't look like Letter head the it is not thick and also they say that commander's verification is not accepted whereas it's written clearly that we can get from Lt. commander as well on the official letter head. So do they have all the authority to reject documents when they want, how can they reject document of a government office signed by Commander?
