In June I had called the official number of Pidilite to connect to the department for water proofing work that Pidilite does in Delhi for residences, etc. i was given the number of their manager inchare Mr. Punit- 9811711522. I spoke to him and he confirmed that some one will call me and visit the site, that did not happen and then i called after 2 days so he said he forgot and he will now get some one to call me. However that happened and a person came and understood the work and advised that his contractor can do the work and he will visit. they assigned my work to a contractor Mr. Kumar (9810658476, 9555980880) who came after a day and understood the work. He discussed the work needed and we agreed. we asked him to start as soon and he did so in 4 four days and the work time committed by him was 3 days. he did the work with three breaks and took more than 8 days to finish the work. However, after the first rain the water was seeping again and he now started avoiding calls and would commit and never show up. I complained about his work quality and attitude to Mr. Punit and then he would visit. he did minor work twice and confirmed he had missed these points, After a few weeks again water is seeping from another window, now he visits after a few calls and confirms that he did not see the breaks in the exterior of the wall and is now the work required is more than he had done. He said he will return with an estimate of the work. We told him that he knew all these leakage points and he should come and do the work as it is not at all satisfactory, however he has disappeared and we are again waiting for him.
The experience is as good as dealing with most unprofessional local contractors not a company who sent us this authorised contractor and we would like the company to take full responsibility of providing us such a shabby contractor and take full onus to complete the work as we have paid to this contractor and it should be worth the work he is suppose to do and committed
