Club Mahindra – False Information just for selling their Membership!!

I had got Club Mahindra Red Studio Membership on emi from their sales representative Mr. Joy. Kairanna on 24th Dec. My membership no – 1651641.We took the membership in the name of our company – Pushap Electrical Pvt. Ltd. There are 4 directors in the company, the only reason that we took it in the name of our company was that all the 4 directors can travel as a members, this was informed and suggested to us by Mr. Joy. As mentioned by Mr. Joy that please send us an email stating that there are 4 directors these are the names and we shall then update it in our system!! This email was sent on 6th Jan. Mr. Joy did not mention to us anything about the coapplicant. The email sent on 6th mentions all the names and even mentions that our 4th director is going to travel to Goa.

We get an email back from them on 7th from Mohana Priya that Mr. Ramesh Sharoff is a coapplicant, since only one member can be a coapplicant. When we called them up regarding – what is a coapplicant as mentioned by them they have all rights as a member and are treated as a member. Again they informed us – sir don’t worry in your case it’s the company all the 4 directors can travel as members!! The 4th director did travel to Goa he was not charged any guest fees and was checked in as a member and paid all the charges as a member.

Then we stared utilizing the membership in Nov that’s where all the issues started coming up, then they say you should had raised all the issues earlier!! We did raise them then and they clarified saying if its in the name of the company all directors are members!!

Apart from that there were other small issues that were sent via email also to them from my office email id – [email protected]. Then in Nov we used the membership and went to their lonavala property – again there their call center people gave us wrong information about the food vouchers that we had I did call them up and informed them that they have expired – they said not a problem they will accept it cause our lonavala property is now new and not open to general public so they will accept it. While settling the bill there, it was a Sunday and they said that they will not accept it and the call center is closed so please pay us the amount and not the vouchers we cannot do anything in this!! Came back to Mumbai contacted them and the issue to contact them is the long wait on their ivr!! And then every person gives you different information. Then the call center person starts arguing that mam this is not possible we will not mention any such thing for the food vouchers!! For them the customer is always wrong!!

In Nov 11, I went down to Goa, was staying there for 4 nights, they first checked me in as a member then after 2 days later when were dinning in their restaurant one of their person comes up to us mam can I get your membership card cause there is some issue!! Then they inform me that you are a guest and not a member!! How weird is that!! The 3rd day we were suppose to be shifted to the one bed room from a hotel unit they wasted our 4 – 5 hours just for a room shift!! Have sent them an email regarding the same. The basic point was they spoiled my entire day just waiting!! They call themselves a 5 star resort and they don’t have basic sense that when there is do not disturb tag outside the room you are not suppose to enter the room or disturb their guest. They rang the bell 3 times, we did not open the door cause we do not want to be disturbed the heights is that they just open the door with the master key to just come and keep the morning news paper inside!! What service is that worst mannerism than even a 3 star resort!! Wonder how can they call themselves 5 star resort!!

Every time you ask them for a booking 1st they will say no mam not available then if you say this is not done, ull always do this and speak a little harsh then they will give you a room the next day and suddenly they have a cancellation. This is not once it happens all the time, so every time they have a cancellation come up if the customer is a little stern!!

There were many other small issues which they have sorted it out but my main issue is the director issue which they refuse to solve. Have been following up since the last 3 - 4 months. Mr. joy could not handle the case he passed it on to his senior Mr. Amol who also could not resolve it then Ms. Preeti his senior has been following it up.

I did ask her to mention all the name of the directors, which she said is not possible, after 2 years if they inform me that this is not possible, its too late cause a lot of my money is invested already. Then in that case the 2nd option that they have is to refund me my money cause of the false information about the directors given while signing up for the membership – for which I have a proof, again she says that’s also not possible cause we have signed up their contract saying that it is non refundable. But don’t they have any clause that what if the sales man gives wrong information just to sell the membership then what!!

I was being patient enough with them to get back to me but every time they kept disappointing me and gave me a lot of mental stress in just following up with them. Its just a simple thing that I require from them is to treat all directors as members or give me a refund cause of the false commitment. They refuse to do both!!

Incase I take this case further they should actually refund me my money with interest and rather even compensate for all the stress they have given me and my time wasted behind following up with them!! I sympathize with all the other club Mahindra members, this membership is more of a stress then enjoyment!! I need my refund with interest OR accept all the directors as members as mentioned and committed while selling us the membership!!
