I want to register the complaint against departmental store named "Laxmi Home Appliances" registered against tin no 29330389334 located at #547, H.T. Parallel road, 'A' block, (opp .park) Sahakar Nagar, Bangalore 560092, Ph no - 080-23625017.
I bought one COCOBO thermos (for keeping water warm) from the shop on 5th Jan for Rs 774 and I have been given bill against it having bill no 6363. The shopkeeper while selling the product said that it was good than milton and cello and would keep water warm for more than 12 hrs, where in milton and cello it promises to keep the water warm only for 6 hrs. There after he promised that if the product does not functions as promised then he would take guarantee to replace the product by sending it back to the company.
Now after using the product I came to know that it does not keep water hot for about 10 hrs as promised. I went to the shopkeeper on 10th Jan and explained him the same. Shopkeeper kept the flask and said it will be verified by expert from the company and asked me to come back the next day i.e. on 11th Jan. I could not go to the shop being busy and when i went on 12th Jan he said that it does keep water warm and there is no defect in the product. I told him is there any report for it he said that he poured hot water in it and kept it for 24 hrs and it was still warm.
I am not satisfied with what shopkeeper did, and then when i asked him to replace the product with new one and send the defective piece back to the company he said that he cannot do so. Where in if the product is really guaranteed then products are always taken back by the company and replace it. I am sure the shopkeeper is cheating on the consumers and I want to take action against him.
