I went to an Optician - Optic Palace (Gandhidham) with my new prescription as provided by my Doctor on 6th October. He promised to deliver the glasses by 8 october. The total amount for the the new no. came to Rs. 1700 and i gave him Rs. 500 advance.
I visited the optician after 2 days to collect my glasses. I tried the glasses but couldnot see clearly. At first he told me that i would take time to adjust to the new no. but i asked him to check the no. of the glasses on the machine. On checking there was difference in the prescription and the glasses made by him in both the glasses. (Variance in the Axis degrees in the both the eye). He agreed that there the glasses made were incorrect and assured remake the glasses and deliver me after 2 days.
I visited the store again after 2 days only to discover that the vision was still not very clear. I got it checked on the machine and there was again some error in the degrees of the glasses. The optician told me that they make lot of glasses and so errors are bound to happen and assured me that he would get it right. I advised him to take as much time he wanted but at least give me the glasses as per my prescription.
He told me to collect the glasses from another store which was nearer to my place of residence.
I visited his another store after 4 days and found the vision still to be unclear. This time he was not ready to have the number checked on the machine and forced to me accept the glasses as it is and instead advice me to have it checked from my doctor. I did not pay him and left the store.
