I had given my satin wedding gown for dry cleaning that was worth Rs. 48, 000 to the Guardini Dry Cleaner. Now they have completely ruined the gown and the memory of my wedding. I had given it for dry cleaning at their Aurobindo market outlet sometime in the second week of January. The first time, they returned it to me with a black stain and when I brought it to their attention they took it back to clean it again. The second time around they returned it to me with the same stain on but with the gown's drape and beading completely taken off. With further inspection I found that they had tried to stitch it back (drapes and beading) with red thread. Yesterday (dated- 03 March) they returned my gown after the third redo. To my dismay, though they got the stain out there is a tiny hole replacing the stain, it is all wrinkled which I think is irreparable, the stitching on the corset are out and also the stitching at the hem is out too. I also know for sure that they had washed my gown because it has lost its volume (the fluffy stiff linings are all droopy now and the flower detailing on the gown are all droopy). They mislead the public with false information to ply their dubious business. And one of their so called manager Mr. Anil with whom we had made an appointment on 04-03 backed out citing an important meeting. Now he is unreachable when we try to call him up. Also they do not have a decent website where we can lodge a complaint nor do they have costumer care service. And they proudly inform people that they have tied up with a leading ITALIAN DRY CLEANING COMPANY which is so RIDICULOUS. It is an insult to the people who trusted them with their possession. Something should be done to teach them a lesson.
