I am a trader in mumbai and had recently purchased a hindware constellation set from hindware. I had chechked the WC on delivery and failed to check the seat cover thinking that like other standard company the seat covers can be received unchecked as there is generally no problem wih them. to my surprise my client brought back the seat cover as it was badly scratched on the upper side. The packing box on receipt was badly damaged. This is a common complaint with hindware products of bad packaging. To my surprise the dealer asked me to speak to the company about this. The company representative to my surprise just refused to take any responsibility and shifted the blame on me saying that I should have checked on delivery. Such an attitude of the company surprised me as the seat cover is worth only about Rs 600/- only. Let this be a lesson for all consumers that the quality of products of such so called branded companies may be not upto mark.By the way a similar seat cover of unbranded mfrs cost upto Rs 350/-.
