The details.

I had purchased an Onida 1.5 ton split a/c on 20/3/020.(S18TRD3) (3 star) (trendy).bill no CS/ANR/26201 from Girias, in annanagar

The a/c was installed on 27/3, by Onida service. At my parents apartment - No.14, sreela apartments, gilchrist avenue, harrington road, chetpet, chennai 31.

On 10/4, the a/c started leaking and water started to flow profuself from the unit into the living room floor like a waterfall. Beacuse there are 3 senior citizens residing in the apartment I had switched it off and made a complaint at the Onida call center - 39889000 on the same day at 1.30 am. The complaint number given to me was 10045426381307.

After repeated following up Mr. salauddin of onida - 9361088818 sent a technician on 14/10 and inspected the a/c.

he said that a water pipe had been broken on installation and it needs to be replaced.

But no one has so far committed to a date when they will replace it or given me a proper answer. I had even caled MR. Rameshwar, of onida - product manager on his mobile 9382511110 and he too has not given me a reply. Spoke to mr.babu and the manager of girias but no use.

It is peak summer in chennai, my parents residing in the apartment, on the top floor are all ailing and above 70 years of age. I have paid full amount for the A/c.

I would like you to advise on what steps I need to take to correct this kind of gross negligence and cheating on part of onida and Girias.
