I have been facing serious issues with the service of my TITAN wrist watch. In early November I had gone to the " World Of Titan" in Nager Bazar Kolkata to replace my torn out band of the wrist watch, model 9236 QJB (that's the model what I was told by the servicing team) which I had purchased from the same showroom early 2011. The service team working out of that center had logged the complaint in the register and assured me that the new band would be available maximum within 10 days. Post that I have been following up every week and every time I got to know that the band is not available and it's being arranged to get the band from their Bangalore office which is still awaited... after almost one and half month I was told that I should submit the watch at their outlet and they would handover the same to somebody who would take up the next steps for getting the spare band... I got really puzzled hearing this and found the proposal as a weird idea... also it took me sometime to believe that for a simple band I have been chasing up these guys for more than a month and half and they are so casual with customer discomfort... also I think this is a very unethical business practice to sell the product to the customers without having proper after sales support. This is an eye opener to me that even a TATA company does not take care of the customers and I am sure that there are thousands of such worst effected customers across all the cities who had gone through such painful experience.
