Sub: Request for Disconnection Airtel Digital TV Connection due to poor Service.

Please let me know the procedure to disconnect the Airtel Digital TV Connection to the above Ref# (Customer ID# 3007962816).

I bought a connection from Airtel on 17/05 through phone while booking itself your executive said that your service engineer will install all the necessary items before 1:00 O’clock on same day (17/05) but he came by 3 O’clock and installed but…

While I’m booking the connection itself all my friends and relatives said that don’t go with Airtel since they have more customers they are unable to provide good service so choose some other products who give best service but I said to them that because of their good service only they have that much of customers but you people proved it what my friends and relatives said is right

I listed 4 Problems in detail for your reference.

Problem 1

I opted for 2 Regional languages (Tamil & Telugu) but provided Telugu and Kannada after so many calls it has been resolved.

Problem 2

On my pack you need to give 12 meters of wire to me to connect Airtel dish and setup box but he used some old wires (Dish TV) which was left by some one who stayed earlier at there. If they (Dish TV) come and take their items I will be in the problem.

Problem 3

By Saturday (21/05) suddenly on my TV I received an message as “No Signal” with error code “B0008” immediately I called your customer service and inform to them.

They said that they will register a complaint regarding this and service engineer will come to my home on Sunday (22/05) morning 9:00 O’clock so my entire family waited for service engineer till my 11:00 O’clock by postponing all our programs which we planned already.

So I call again customer support by 11:00 O’clock on 22/05 the lady said that our appointment was given for afternoon 1:30 pm I said to her that while I’m filing the complaint it was advice to me as morning 9 O’clock now you saying that 1:30 pm and request her to give correct timing so she confirmed again and said that before 4:30 pm (Sunday) our problem will get resolved.

My father dropped from our plan and left in home to get resolved this issue.By 5:00 pm I got a message stating that “Dear Customer, your Service request reference no is 8215082 for “Video Problem” has been resolved. If the issue is unresolved please call 8008976161” after I reach home by 8:00 pm my father said no one came from “Airtel” to resolve the problem so immediately I switch on the TV and Setup Box to check whether it has been resolved but still we face the same problem.

I called the given Ph# 8008976161 but no response so again I called Customer Service and spoke to them and explain all the above scenario and request him to give procedure to cancel Airtel Digital TV but he requested to give him one final chance and he will make sure that this problem will be get resolved before 4:30 pm (23/05) Monday evening.

I agree for that and waited till 6:30 pm on (23/05) but no one responded so I called again the customer service and requested for the procedure to cancel the connection again they requested for one more chance to resolve this problem but I requested to them really we totally fed with their service and disconnect the connection he said he will send a request for disconnection and somebody will talk to me in next 24 hours from their office I agree for that so he put request for disconnection with reference# 8008976161.

Problem 4

While booking they said I will get 127 channels apart from my 2 Regional packages but I’m receiving only 90 Channels inclusive of DD and free channels I adopted.

Please consider my request and cancel the digital TV connection and refund my full amount immediately Rs. 1590/- (One thousand five hundred and ninety only).

Note: Even I planning to file a complaint on Airtel Digital TV on consumer court on above issue without attaining the problem itself it was advice as problem resolved”
