Bill generated for the period where I have not used the service

In the Jan, I have already paid the pending balance for the Airtel 3G card service and requested to close the connection to the person who came to collect the amount, and also to many call center people with whom I discussed on this.

Now, there is a bill generated for 2 months during that period I have not downloaded a single byte also, but they are asking me to pay the rental for this. which is not good and is against the ethics. They are asking me, if I had submmited a written request in one of the customer care center for the discontinuation of this service. When I took the connection, everything was done on the phone call itself, but when it comes to disconnection, why we need to go and requst them in person? This is clear case of cheating the customers and makig money.

Also, I have 2 other connections from Airtel only, for which I am making the prompt payments every month before the deadline, atleast the customer relationship officers should see other relations with the customer and take a call. now airtel is sending me threatening emails and SMSs that, I wil be put in jail for not making the payment for the service which I have never used.
