Airtel promotes its corporate connections to have free calling within the same corporate without any conditions, however, this is not true. I recently got to know about this when i scrutinized my phone bill for the first time in the 5 years of using this number. I called the cust care line and was told that only the numbers under the same account will be free. I checked with the Airtel rep at my office and she confirmed that all the calls to all other Airtel Corporate customers in my office will be free of cost and when asked if there are any conditions to this, she denied the same. I even collected the promotional brouchers from her and have them with me as proof. It clearly mentions that all the calls within the CUG group will be free and when i asked her what this CUG group means, she said its the group of your company and has nothing to do with my free calls. I checked with oher colleagues of mine and when they checked their free calls, they confirmed they have been duped as well. I am planning to take this matter to the consumer courts against Airtel for Deliberately Mis-Selling the service and for not providing the service that was promised while selling the same. The Airtel Corporate connection apparently turns out to be a scam and nothing else.
