I’m sorry to say but I’ve very bad experience with Airtel.
My connection is a post-paid connection that my father-in-law planned to gift to me. So, he purchased the connection from Sheeba-Tel, C-7, Jail Road, New Delhi and gifted it to me about four years ago. Since then, I’ve given all documentation with my residence proof and all not once or twice but thrice but nobody seems to bother at all and we are reconciled to the fact that he will receive the bill. I’ve given my no. to so many people that I can’t change my no. howsoever much I desire.
This communication is, however, triggered by a call from Airtel regarding a my wife's pre-paid connection no. again purchased from Sheeba Tel. The connection was, again, purchased from the same dealer and proper address proof given. Sometime ago, there was a call from Airtel that if address proof is not submitted in 24 hours, the connection will be disconnected. We submitted the documents at Sheeba Tel. Then, again, the process was repeated and we re-submitted the documents. Today, again, there was the same call. My only reaction is that PLEASE DISCONNECT THE NO. BECAUSE IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO KEEP ON SUBMITTING MY ADDRESS PROOF EVERY OTHER DAY TO YOU.
IF YOU CAN’T TAKE CARE OF ALL THE DOCUMENTS I’M SUBMITTING TO YOU, IT’S YOUR PROBLEM. I CAN’T RUN AROUND SUBMITTING ALL THE DOCUMENTS YOU REQUIRE EVERY OTHER DAY.
