ID mismanagement

I got Super Lifetime PrePaid Connection in January and submitted my voters ID card copy as the ID proof. I already have another functional mobile connection in my name under same ID and address.

I got a call from Airtel regional office on 23-feb asking me to submit the ID as it is not there in their records. The very moment I called their 121 customer service number to confirm whether my ID is registered with them or not, and the gentlemen on the other side replied that my ID is registered with them and the phone will not be disconnected.

Now, what about the threatening call that I received from their regional office asking me to submit the ID within 24 hours or the disconnection of the services will take place...

I am totally confused, what should I do now.

Whom should I contact now and what to do next???
