My Prepaid Cellphone from Idea Cellular, Pune is approximately One year old. Soon after I began using it I registered the number on the Idea DND (Acknowledgement no 1-32380111) and on the National DND (can be confirmed on the website). Despite this I receive up to 50 unwanted promotional sms and calls every day. I emailed Idea Cellular but all I got from them are standard format "we are sorry for your inconvenience..." kind of emails - but no action. All the sms are "bulk sms" where the sender's number does not show. This cannot happen without the knowledge, consent & cooperation of the host network. Obviously, Idea has no interest in implementing a DND filter - they lose all interest in the customer after a sale has been completed. Please help.
