Have been a prepaid customer of IDEA for the around 2 years. Recently, some Executive from Idea called me up and explained a plan about GPRS internet service costing Rs.20/day. I listened to him but as I had no interest in the service at that point of time, I told him that I will think about it.
After a day, 20 Rs. were deducted from my account and subsequently the next day again the same thing happened. I called up the customer care service to know what the hell was going on. The customer care exec. told me that a internet plan named NET20 has been activated on your account.
The Executive who called me that day must have activated the plan on my mobile without my permission. He might have been trying to achieve his targets without the customer being willing to close the deal.
As a loyal customer of IDEA cellular I want to know what kind of customer redressal mechanism do IDEA have and is IDEA trying to diminish its brand image that it has created over a period of time by going for unethical practices.
