I have been using an Idea number for the past 6 years and I am a gold member. I had travelled to the U.S for a month and was on international roaming. Now while I was on roaming, I used the GPRS on the phone and made a few calls and apparently my bill amounted to Rs. 32000. Again, I am not sure if they have billed me correctly, but thats not the complaint here. My complaint is that Idea had sent me a message asking me to pay Rs 10, 000 as interim payment since I had exceeded my credit limit which was Rs 8000 and it reached to Rs 32000. So when I returned to India, withing two days my number was barred completely including incoming and outgoing and hence I immediately paid all the outstanding amount but still my phone was not started for one day and I had to make multiple calls to the call center and I was really really hassled and stressed and I lost business because my phone number was barred. I am really unhappy with the customer service and I want some action to be taken against this bad customer service.
