INEFFICIENCY IN SERVICES AND UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE AT IDEA WORKFORCE

NEVER BUY IDEA CONNECTIONS (ESPECIALLY POSTPAIDS)

I am writing with COMPLAINT with regard to a post paid connection which was offered to me over some idea scheme promotional calls.

For the background information, I had a pre-paid number from IDEA, which I was told by Idea representative that I could get same number converted into a post paid connection without any hassle. I was informed about the whole process that how my pre-paid (same no.), will be activated into post paid no. and based on that information I purchased the post paid connection (same no.) on 15th May.

After purchase and the payment of initial amount (500 Rs.), my application was kept on hold for more than TWO WEEKS for "X" no. of reasons, which I was not informed to me. After regular follow up from my end, the post paid connection was finally activated on 8th June after completion of all the formalities of documentations/verifications etc required by Idea Corporation.

Since then, my number (postpaid connection) was working fine, and concurrently my pre-paid (same no.) got deactivated. However, on 15th June, I was informed that I would need to provide some additional documentation for my postpaid no. else my no. will be deactivated. And as informed, the connection got deactivated the same evening.

After all the hassles, I requested the IDEA Agents to get the required documents collected from my place. However, the customer care in turn was just not ready to send their executive to my place nor were they willing to activate my postpaid connection. At last, they did send someone to collect the documentation after 2 days. My documentation got collected, and reached IDEA agents/customer care already. However, these bloody unprofessional people have not activated my no. yet.

Since this is my business no., I can not afford to be disconnected from my number for long. I have made repeated requests to the customer care and have not got any satisfactory response. My business/work is suffering due to the inefficiency of IDEA workforce. I never realized that changing a pre-paid connection to a post paid connection would be such horrendous experience for me.

I have experienced a lot of problem and that too because of lack of professionalism and services at IDEA agents, dealers & Customer Care. Some dealers are just not realizing, how they are spoiling IDEA’s professional image. I have been given numerous assurances but nothing has happened actually, in terms of activation of my number. Every time I have been informed & promised by these agents that the issue will be resolved within 24 hours. However, my problem is not resolved till date. I have been receiving personal excuses from agent’s end and hence the issue has not been resolved yet. The agents keep giving false promises but no solution. I even wrote an email to IDEA Customer Care also to which I haven't received any response either.

It is really sad to tell that I have never come across such a bad experience / this is really an incompetent customer service.
