This Complaint is against IDEA CELLULAR for allocating my existing number 9911677898 to another user without my knowledge.
I was using this number for the past 5-6 years. I went out of Delhi in December 208 for my job so since then I use this number once in 3-4 months.
My complaint here is that I used this number in March (end of month) and I got it recharged also. Recently I wanted to use this number again in July so I switched it on and found out that my SIM is not registered. On inquiring with IDEA CUSTOMER CARE I got to know that my number has been reallocated to some one else and the reason they are giving is that "You have not got your phone recharged for the past 6 months so we have re allocated it". I am sending them mails for the past 2 weeks asking them to send me the details of the policy, my last amount and time of recharge as a proof of the action they have taken but the only response I got from them is that you have not got it recharged so we reallocated it. I have not got any proof from them.
I know that the policy states that we have to get our phone recharged with Rs.200 in 6 months and I followed that. I remember that I got my phone recharged in Dec and again in March and the amount is greater that Rs.200 (some promotional offers like SMS pack etc).
Please help me out and take strict actions against IDEA as they have cheated on their customers who trusted them and used their services for years together.
