Call Barring not ther in IDEA

I use IDEA Cellular and I was getting blank calls from a particular number

I raised this with the Customer Service and after holding for more than 5 minutes, they simply told me to raise a Police Complaint or Pay Rs 50/- p.m to activate the call barring service

I am highly dissatisfied with their service and I am not sure why does not TRAI regulate this and ensure that every customer gets this service free of cost

This is a freebie and a MUST in US and other countries.

I think we Indians keep reminding that we are still a developing country and do not want to develop any further

I am not sure what should be done now

Why should I go through the hassle of a Police Complaint [FIR] and then get involved in this when the same can be avoided by simpoly adding a number on my "DO NOT CALL LIST"

I respect Aditya Birla a lot, but seeing this it makes me think again that we are here for business and money and not for the service
