Money collected for a new selected number but not allocated

I have sent the complaint as below to Shalini (Grievance. Delhi) on 3rd Jun. Do we have some one at IDEA listening to potential customers.

This is my feedback and grievance with reference to new IDEA connection application thru one of IDEA DSA.

One of IDEA Cellular DSA got in touch with for a new IDEA connection for the chosen number 99113 54777 and got the paper work completed (Customer application form no. - S357543) along with collection of my address proof, photo etc on 7 May. Rs 250 was collected in cash as advance deposit and a receipt was duly issued.

The very next day I received a call that the chosen for which the paper work was signed is not available and I must choose alternate number, for which I refused. I was promised my refund will be sent to my home in next couple of day. Now I am asked to go to their office and collect the refund which is not feasible. They have even stopped taking my call noticing my number.

I suspect this is a planned fraud of engaging customers with attractive numbers and then force them abandon their deposit. I urge you to take strong action against the DSA to ensure IDEA's brand equity stays on top. Look forward for see a early response from you.

G-lifee, A-3/29, First Floor, Sector-5, Rohini, Delhi.
