Sub: Unauthorized issuance of my mobile phone No. 9964447797 to someone else
Dear Sir,
This is to bring to your kind information that I had taken a mobile connection (No. 9964447797) in my name 4 years back, and the SIM card of which is with me in U.A.E. and the last usage by me was on 8th august. When I tried to call that number, just for a testing, I heard a Kannada Greetune, and sensing that the number is using by somebody, I contacted the number once again, when the user of the number informed that he took this number from IDEA around a year back and has been using since then.
Again contacting the new user of the connection, it is learnt that he is working in the Police Commissioner’s office. It became now crystal clear now that transfer of mobile connection is may be done on his power and influence over IDEA company.
I then complaint to IDEA about this, and they informed me that since I was not using the mobile number for more than 4 months, they issued the number to someone else!
Please note that there was sufficient balance on my mobile number, and how can the IDEA company issue my number to anyone, without my knowledge or permission.
As this is a breach of trust from one of the respected mobile giants in India, it is not acceptable. Hence I hereby file my formal complaint with your esteemed office with request to kindly get me my connection back from IDEA.
Your immediate action in this matter will be highly appreciated.
Copy of the letter which I send to IDEA in this regard is sent herewith, for your reference.
