I had signed a contract with Matrix Inc 2 years ago as I was going to US for my Masters. I returned earlier than expected and returned the instrument and the SIM Card 3 months before the contract closure, but I had signed the contract with an early termination clause. The clause read that the contract could be closed at any time and an early termination fee as mentioned in the tariff enrollment form would be charged. As a trusting customer, I had signed the contract. Shocked, I was to see that I had been charged a bill of Rs 7529 as line rental after surrendering the connection. Upon arguing with their GM in the Bangalore Branch, I was informed that there was no such thing as a Tariff enrollment form, which I demanded to see, as I was sure that an early termination fee is not the same as the line rental charges for the entire duration of the contract.
It would be my plea and advice to people that we should boycott their services, as they are simply taking the gullible public for a ride. Their business model thrives on cheating and misguiding their customers and clients.
Further more, when I try to contact their customer service center, I receive no response from anyone. I donot understand why they call themselves and organization, when they are so disorganized, they have no customer support, yet have a customer support mail and number. I find their service dismal and I am preparing to appeal in the court filing a case through the customer protection forum. I hope that Matrix Inc is brought to justice and many people like me and you are no longer harassed by such dishonest businesses.
